New Vancouver BC Flow Hive Course for Beginner Beekeepers
Fascinated by the Flow Hive? Just received it in the mail and wondering now what? Where to get bees, how to keep them, how to work this new and interesting device? Like many people captivated by the excitement and media coverage of the Flow Hive you are sure to have questions like these and many more.
This new beekeeping course for Vancouver, and possibly the world!, is a Bee School designed for the new beekeeper with a Flow Hive. The Flow Hive simplifies many of the activities for beekeepers, especially the honey harvest, but you still have to keep the bees.
Offering sixteen hours of instruction given in six enjoyable and informative sessions both in the natural history of the honey bee and how to manage bees using sustainable organic methods. Expert hands on sessions led by an apicultural professional with a Flow Hive filled with bees this course will get you on the right path to success with your new Flow Hive.
The classes will take place at the Oak Park Field House at 7575 Fremlin Street in Vancouver Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
